I tried it for that very reason, hoping the banana cream flavor would be as tasty as the other Pro Complex flavors. It's not, though... at least not to my taste buds. It's got a very artificial, harsh, banana bubblegum flavor that is really not too pleasant. I tried mixing in some chocolate syrup, but that didn't help much. The fake banana flavors are just too potent to be covered up by the added chocolate. I honestly can't see buying more of this, even though I really love the variety of proteins in this product. I am disappointed that ON chose to include casein in only the banana cream flavor of Pro Complex.
